Mechanical Expanding Shafts

If high webspeeds or sensitive winding materials are required, we recommend the use of a mechanical expanding system. Only mechanical activated expanding elements, guarantee an exactly centric running of the roll.

WISTEC mechanic expanding shaft for 3" cores, complete equipped with TAMBOUR-bearings for a pilot machine in the paper converting industry. The webspeed > 2500 m / min. (figure 1 )

The activation of the shaft is done over a hexagon in the axle journal. This construction makes it possible to use all kinds of screw systems, primary pneumatic screw spanner.
